This schematic uses the F78570 micro-controller
thats used in other X-10 designs. But unlike some of the other designs you may
have seen, this schematic does not use negative voltages. The 6375 schematic breaks
from the tradition of showing a negative voltage when drawing a 78570.
While other 78570 schematics are electrically correct, they show a negative voltage being
used to power a digital micro-controller. I respectfully submit that the negative
voltage is actually logic ground, while the ground shown in these other schematics is
actually +15VDC. I hope this way of representing power and ground helps the design
to make more sense to the reader.
In fact, unlike other designs like the RR501 which connects AC HOT to the designs
logic ground, the 6375 connects AC HOT to its +15v supply, and creates a local logic
ground down from the +15v.
